ITIL® 4 is here!
ITIL® 4's release date has officially been announced for 2019. The next generation in ITIL has been designed with the modern digital world in mind, enabling organisations to keep up with the ever-changing nature of the technology industry.
As ITIL 4 incorporates much of the content from ITIL V3, any existing investments in ITIL are protected. However, ITIL 4 builds on the current content and highlights the importance of working holistically and collaboratively to successfully deliver products and services. It provides an invaluable digital operating model that offers practical support for emerging technologies, such as AI and robotics.
What does this mean for ITIL V3?
ITIL V3 continues to be recognised as a credible IT certification and the exam will remain available until AXELOS announces that the certification will be retired. Please read our FAQs for more information on how to transition over to ITIL 4.
