ITIL V3 Training Courses

ITIL v3 qualifications are available at four levels with each certificate carrying a number of credits towards the advanced level qualifications. 

Twenty-two credits are required to achieve the ITIL v3 Master level qualification and credits are awarded for qualifications held from previous versions of ITIL. 

The four levels of qualification are as follows (click on the ITIL v3 level on this diagram to see the training courses you can choose from):

Our Trainers

All v3 qualifications have specific trainer eligibility criteria which must be met prior to trainers being authorized to deliver v3 qualifications. All ILX ITIL trainers meet this criteria. At a minimum, every trainer delivering the Intermediate qualifications (and higher) must possess a certification in the qualification they wish to deliver.

ITIL V3 Lifecycle Specialist Gold Package

Provides an accelerated route to qualifying in one of the ITIL V3 Lifecycle disciplines. This blended programme combines ITIL version 3 e-learning including examination with your chosen classroom workshop. Choose from one of the following workshops and gain 5 credits towards the ITIL Expert qualification:

• Service Design
• Service Transition
• Service Operation
• Continual Service Improvement

ITIL V3 Service Manager Package

A fully blended programme which comprises 10-12 hours of the ITIL V3 Foundation CBT including examination together with the three core intermediate lifecycle 3 day modules of Service Design, Service Transition and Service Operation.  Candidates will take four examinations and will gain 11 credits towards the ITIL Expert qualification.

ITIL V3 Service Strategy & Improvement Package

3-Day ITIL V3 Intermediate Qualification in Service Strategy

The course builds on the general principles covered as part of the ITIL® Foundation course. It covers the lifecycle aspects of Service Transition and covers the management and control of the activities and techniques within the Service Transition stage of the lifecycle but not the detail of each of the supporting processes (which are covered in detail in the capability courses). Additionally the course looks at the concept of Service Transition as a practice and at the interfaces between Service Transition and the other stages of the ITIL® Service Lifecycle.

ITIL V3 Master

This level of the qualification will assess an individual's ability to apply and analyse the ITIL concepts in new areas. This higher level qualification is currently under development.
