If you haven't done any ITIL training then you need to start with ITIL Foundation which is a prerequisite to further ITIL studies including ITIL Practitioner training and ITIL Managers training.

ITIL Foundation Certificate Course Syllabus
The ITIL Foundation certificate ensures a basic understanding of the ITIL principles:
- the terminology
- the Service Desk function
- the 10 core processes and their relationships and
- interfaces with other processes and the business
ITIL Foundation course prerequisites:
No prerequisites.
The ITIL Foundation course suits:
- New and experienced IT staff
- Those who may go onto train in the higher levels of ITIL
- Consultants/contract staff operating in a ITIL environment
- Those considering a career in Service Management
The ITIL Foundation exam
The ITIL Foundation exam is a multiple choice paper.
It consists of 40 questions and you need to get at least 65% correct in order to achieve the ITIL foundation qualification.
